Jean and Alison narrowly pipped Jean Jasper and her guest Maggie Ewen to win the Murrayshall Ladies' Invitation Day today by one shot with an excellent Nett 71.

The challenge of playing partnership golf in strong winds was followed by a prize-giving lunch, which included the brief appearance of tiers of mini cakes and the presentation of some very exclusive prizes.
