Ladies Invitation Day, 2012

Congratulations to Marysia Whittet and her guest Cathy Irvine!

Marysia Whittet and Cathy Irvine narrowly pipped May Halkerston and her guest Sandy Young to win the Ladies Invitation Day on Monday, by virtue of a better inward half after an excellent Nett 69.  Jean McEwan and her guest Jan Rae were third with a Nett 70.

The challenge of playing partnership golf was followed by a prize-giving lunch, which included the brief appearance of some mini Pavlovas and the presentation of some very exclusive prizes.

3rd Dow & Jessie Valentine (Qualifier), 2012

Rescheduled Competition.

Yesterday's 3rd Dow & Jessie Valentine (Qualifier), which was cancelled after rain forced the closure of the Murrayshall Course, has been rescheduled to Thursday 17th May.

There is no option for an Alternative Day for the rescheduled competition.

The Stableford 4 & Past Captain's Trophy 2 competition, which was due to be played on the Thursday 17 May, has been rescheduled to Thursday 28 June.

Libby finished 3rd equal with a Nett 72 in the 2012 Scottish Hydro Ladies' National Final at Murrayshall.
Katherine Chambers was her caddie for the day.

Congratulations to Fay Wildsmith who scored a fantastic Nett 67 yesterday.
Not only did she cut her handicap from 26.8 to 24.4 but she also qualified for the Barnardo's Scotland Grand Final at Arbroath Golf Course on Friday 24 August, 2012.

What a wonderful time Yvonne McGregor and Jane Yellowlees had at the Carnoustie Invitational!

After watching the ceremonial opening tee shot they enjoyed 18 holes of competition golf on the Championship Course, a coffee and a chat at the beat-the-pro hole, a golf masterclass, a champagne reception and a prize-giving dinner all with Catriona Matthew, MBE.

Scottish Hydro National Competition, 2012

Congratulations to Libby Rodger who scored a fantastic Nett 66 on Thursday.

Not only did she cut her handicap from 15 to 13.5 but she also qualified for the Scottish Hydro Regional Final to be held at Murrayshall on Sunday 6 May, 2012.


The winner of the Final will play in the Scottish Hydro Challenge Pro-Am at the magnificent Macdonald Spey Valley Resort, Aviemore in June.
