Just a Perfect Day for a little Amble in the Sun!
Well done to Jean McEwan who pipped Jan Falconer by a single shot to win Saturday's Secret Challenge with a score of 3 under par.

Peugeot LGU Coronation Foursomes (Qualifier), 2012

Jean and Diana won Peugeot LGU Coronation Foursomes Qualifier on Saturday.
The results were as follows:
     1st   Jean Jasper & Diana Alston - 37pts

     2nd  Linda Gray & Heather Cameron - 31pts

     3rd   Fay Wildsmith & Mandy Cameron - 28pts

The winning pair are eligible to compete in one of the Area Finals held by the LGU in July and August.  The winners of the Area Finals will go on to compete at the 2012 Grand Final on Monday 24th September at St Andrews.

Ladies Invitation Day, 2012

Congratulations to Marysia Whittet and her guest Cathy Irvine!

Marysia Whittet and Cathy Irvine narrowly pipped May Halkerston and her guest Sandy Young to win the Ladies Invitation Day on Monday, by virtue of a better inward half after an excellent Nett 69.  Jean McEwan and her guest Jan Rae were third with a Nett 70.

The challenge of playing partnership golf was followed by a prize-giving lunch, which included the brief appearance of some mini Pavlovas and the presentation of some very exclusive prizes.

3rd Dow & Jessie Valentine (Qualifier), 2012

Rescheduled Competition.

Yesterday's 3rd Dow & Jessie Valentine (Qualifier), which was cancelled after rain forced the closure of the Murrayshall Course, has been rescheduled to Thursday 17th May.

There is no option for an Alternative Day for the rescheduled competition.

The Stableford 4 & Past Captain's Trophy 2 competition, which was due to be played on the Thursday 17 May, has been rescheduled to Thursday 28 June.

Libby Rodger really enjoyed her day on Sunday.

Libby finished 3rd equal with a Nett 72 in the 2012 Scottish Hydro Ladies' National Final at Murrayshall.
Katherine Chambers was her caddie for the day.
Well done Libby!  Great Result.
